Easy tiramisu recipe


  • 2 cups strong black coffee
  • 1/2 cup marsala
  • 250g mascarpone
  • 300ml thickened cream, lightly whipped
  • 1 large packet of sponge fingers (savoiardi)
  • cocoa, for dustin
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar


Step 1

Decant coffee with marsala into a shallow dish. Put in side.

Take for beating egg yolks and sugar in a large bowl with electric beaters until pale and thick. After add the mascarpone and whipped cream,

Then beat egg whites in a medium bowl with electric beaters after to be soft peaks form. Take a large metal spoon, gently fold eggwhites into the mascarpone mixture.

Step 4

Put biscuits into the coffee mixture to cover the base of a 19cm square ceramic dish. Then cover the biscuits with one-third of the mascarpone mixture. After repeat layers 2 times, finish with the cream. And cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate wait to cool about 2 hours. Dust fully with cocoa then serve.
