Kielbasa Kale Stew

Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 kale - rinsed, dried and chopped
  • 2/3 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 10 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Put the potatoes in a large stockpot, with medium high heat.Then  add butter with water, then bring to a boil. After cook potatoes until tender, for 20 minutes.

While reserve the cooking liquid and mash potatoes in the pan until smooth. After back the potato water to the pot and move in salt and pepper. Cook about 20 minutes.

Stir in the fresh kale with sausage and cook for another 30 minutes. Serve hot.
